Ford GT70

The Ford GT70 was a racing car from Ford of Britain and was produced for rally racing in 1970 and 1971. A total of six copies were made. Many parts from the Ford Zodiac were used . Various engines were installed as a mid- engine:

The power was transmitted by means of a 4-speed (ZF 4DS10) or 5-speed manual transmission (ZF 5DS25) and rear-wheel drive with a limited slip differential. The GT70 goes back to an idea by Ford Motorsport Director Stuart Turner , Jochen Neerpasch and works rally driver Roger Clark .
