The Ford Model C was a mid- range car that the Ford Motor Company in the USA and the Ford-Werke AG in Cologne built.
In 1933 the Model C with a four-cylinder engine was produced in parallel with the Ford Model 40 with a V8 engine. The cars had the same bodies as the Ford V8, but were equipped with a four-cylinder in-line engine with 3,286 cm³ displacement, which delivered an output of 50 bhp (37 kW). This made this Model C the successor to the Model B from 1932, albeit with an extended wheelbase.
In the two years of production, only 9,472 were made in the USA. In 1935, this car was no longer offered due to a lack of buyer interest. Only with the Ford Pinto was there a model with a four-cylinder engine from Ford (USA) in 1971.
