The Ford Pilot (Model E71A) was a car that was built by Ford in England and Australia from 1947 to 1951 . It had a pre-war V8 engine with a displacement of 3600 cc and an output of 90 hp.

In its day it was the top model in the British Ford range. A total of 22,115 units were built in four years. In 1951 it was replaced by the completely redesigned Ford Zephyr .

The predecessor Ford V8 was also available from Ford Germany in the pre-war period, but production was not resumed after the war.
