Ford Dorchester

As Ford Dorchester vehicle models are Ford referred, their bodies since the 1960s by the British coachbuilding firm Coleman Milne to stretch limousines have been changed. The eleventh generation of models based on the current Ford Mondeo model has been in production since 2009 .

Earlier generations were based on the Ford Zodiac , Ford Granada , Ford Scorpio and the Australian Ford Fairlane . Coleman Milne built the hearse produced on the same basis under the name Ford Cardinal . The vehicles are sold in Great Britain and Australia through official Ford dealerships.

The current generation of models is 6,055 meters long and is powered by an inline six-cylinder petrol engine with 4.0 liters displacement, which comes from the Ford Fairlane and has an output of 195 kW. The car has a 6-speed automatic transmission that transfers the power to the rear axle.

In addition to ABS with electronic brake force distribution (EBD), the car has a height-adjustable air suspension on the rear axle.
