The Mazda AZ-Offroad is a small off-road vehicle from the Japanese car manufacturer Mazda . It is one of the very popular kei cars in Japan that are tax-privileged. The name AZ comes from Mazda's K-car brand Autozam . The AZ-Offroad is identical to the K-Car version of the Suzuki Jimny . The car was first offered in 1998. But only in Japan. Some specimens have made it to Russia or Great Britain . The vehicle is powered by a 660 cm³ Suzuki engine with turbocharging, which produces 47 kW (64 hp).

All- wheel drive , a CD radio and central locking are standard . Optionally, you can order an MP3 radio, air conditioning, leather seats, a navigation system, wind deflectors on the side windows, rear parking sensors and fog lights.
