Mazda B360 1961-1968
Compared to the Mazda R360, it had 4 seats as a station wagon, but also only had 2 doors. In addition to the panel van, there was also a pickup called truck in Japan with or without a body. With the R360, the B360 also shared the 356 cm³ air-cooled two-cylinder OHV 4-stroke petrol engine with an output of 13 hp (9.5 kW) in this model. This powered the rear wheels by means of a 4-speed manual gearbox or, optionally, a 2- speed automatic transmission with a torque converter . In September 1963 there was a small revision whereby essentially the engine DA stood out. This had grown to 358 cm³ compared to its predecessor and now with water cooling it achieved 20 HP (15 kW) power.
Mazda B600 1962-1968
The B600 was the export model that had a 577 cm³ air-cooled version OHV engine. In 1964 this engine was also converted to water cooling, grew to 596 cm³ and developed 35 HP (26 kW). The B600 was not sold in Japan.
Burma production since 1973
The Mazda T series and its predecessors were exported to Burma along with other countries . This also happened with the B600. After the end of production of the T-series, Mazda sold the production facilities of this and the Mazda B360 / 600 to the state-owned Myanmar Automobil- und Dieselmotoren Industries Ltd. abbreviated MADI. Since then, these models have been produced locally there.
