David Brown Automotive Limited , previously Crossco (1192) Limited and Exceptions Clothing Company Limited , is a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Sean Torquil Nicolson founded Crossco (1192) Limited in Newcastle upon Tyne on March 1st, 2010 . On April 7th of the same year David Harmon took over from Biesterfield , David James Horrocks and Ian Imrie Nicolson as directors. Phillip Nigel Blain has been secretary since that day. Just six days later, they changed the company name to Exceptions Clothing Company Limited . As of March 15, 2011, an additional address was given in Gateshead in Tyne and Wear. Since January 9, 2013, the company name has been David Brown Automotive Limited . David Patrick Brown has also been a director since February 17, 2014 . On February 27, 2014, the company's headquarters were relocated to Gateshead. However, the company deviates from Coventry . Biesterfield resigned from his post as director on June 27, 2014. All of the above are UK citizens. The Speedback and Speedbird brands were registered in November 2015 and the Remastered brand in October 2017 . The brand name of the vehicles is David Brown .

In 2014 the production of automobiles began. On March 27, 2014 there was a press conference in London . The first vehicle was presented at the Top Marques in Monaco from April 17th to 20th, 2014 . Alan Mobberley (born 1948), who previously worked for Land Rover , is the chief designer.

The first model is the Speedback introduced in 2014 . The vehicle is similar to the models DB5 and DB6 of Aston Martin .

Mini Remastered (since 2017)

The Mini Remastered was introduced in 2017 and is reminiscent of the original Mini .
