Tourette was a British car brand.

Brand history

Carr Brothers Ltd. from Purley started producing automobiles in 1956. The brand name was Tourette . In 1957 the motorcycle manufacturer Progress Supreme Company continued production from Brighton Road in the same place. Production ended in 1958. A total of 35 vehicles were built.

The only model was a microcar . It was similar to the Brütsch models . The vehicle was a tricycle with a rear single wheel. The engine was in a mid-engine design in front of the rear wheel. It was a single - cylinder two-stroke engine from Villiers Ltd with a capacity of 197 cm³ and an output of 6 hp . The open body was made of plastic , later made of aluminum for a surcharge .
