Blee Motors was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Dave Brooks, Richard Martin and John Woolatt founded the company in 1986 in Killingworth , County Tyne and Wear . They started producing automobiles, motorcycles, and kits . The brand name was Unicorn . Production ended in 1989. A total of about four copies were made.
vehicles
The Blee model was inspired by the Lotus Seven . The open two-seater body was made of aluminum . The front fenders were designed to be steering. Many parts came from the Morris Marina . One copy was made between 1986 and 1987.
A kit motorcycle was on offer between 1988 and 1989 and found three buyers. The frame looked like that of the Yamaha FJ 900 . Many parts came from Suzuki GS 500 E , including the four-stroke engine .
