Company history

The company from Chorlton-on-Medlock near Manchester began producing automobiles in 1947. The brand name was Ausfod . Production ended in 1948.

The company manufactured vehicles that were particularly suitable for trials . In the chassis of a Austin 7 was four-cylinder engine of Ford Ten with 1000 cc displacement mounted. The special front axle was designed by Leslie M. Ballamy, who later founded LMB Components .
