Regent Motor Company (Caremore Cars) , previously Regent Motor Company , was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

John Barlow, who formerly ran the Royale Motor Company , founded the Regent Motor Company in St Helens in 2006 and began manufacturing automobiles. The brand name was Regent . The vehicles were both fully assembled and available as a kit. In 2008, Regent Motor Company (Caremore Cars) took over the company under the direction of Francis Richards and David Cleaton. A total of around 50 vehicles were built.

On offer was a 1930s-style landaulet similar to the 1928-1931 Ford Model A. However, the vehicle was longer. The chassis of the Austin FX4 formed the basis. The vehicles were often used for wedding trips.
