Albo Engineering was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Alan Beaumont in 1993 or 1998, the company founded in Batley in the county of West Yorkshire . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Albo . Production ended in 1999. A total of about eight copies were made.

The only model was the 7 . It was similar to the Lotus Seven . The open body offered space for two people. As a special feature, the body was made of aluminum . Many parts, including the built-in motors and the rear rigid axle , came from Ford .
