Broadbest Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Dave Andrews and Mark Ross founded the company in 1987 in Poole in the county of Dorset . They started making automobiles and kits . The brand name was Broadbest . Production ended in 1988. Auto Build-up Services continued production under its own brand name.

vehicles

The company made replicas of the Lamborghini Countach . According to a source, the vehicles represented something like the successor to the Venom Cars model. The Centaur model was a complete vehicle , while the Primo was sold as a kit . The basis was a spaceframe chassis designed by GTD Supercars . V6 engines and V8 engines from Ford and Rover powered the vehicle. The gearbox came from the Renault 30 . Many parts were from Ford Sierra and Ford Scorpio .

About ten copies of the Primo were made.
