Racecorp Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The married couple Jeff and Bev Amos came from Australia . In 1990 she founded the company in Chinnor in the county of Oxfordshire . They started making automobiles and kits . Her son Steve supported her in this. The brand name was Racecorp . Production ended in 1993. A total of about twelve copies were made. Eldon Autokits continued production under its own brand name.
vehicles
The models LA and LAi were on offer , which differed only slightly in terms of their suspension. They were inspired by the Lotus Seven . Roger Wimmey designed the chassis in the form of a spaceframe tubular frame. An open two-seater body was mounted on it. Various engines from Fiat and Ford as well as Wankel engines from Mazda powered the vehicles.
