Group Six Fibers Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

John Mitchell founded the company in 1972 in the London borough of Clerkenwell . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Group Six . Production ended in 1977. A total of about 71 copies were made.

vehicles

The vehicles were similar to Group 6 racing cars , particularly the McLaren M 6 . The chassis of the VW Beetle formed the basis . Then one was body from fiberglass mounted. The windshield came first from the Vauxhall Cresta , later from the Ford Capri . The first vehicles were open. From 1973 a targa roof and later a closed version was available.
