Pulsar was a British car brand.

Brand history

The company Amplas from Chalgrove in the county of Oxfordshire began in 1984 with the production of automobiles and kits . The brand name was Pulsar . From 1985 Lemazone from Leigh in Lancashire continued production under the direction of Mike Parkington. Production ended in 1987. A total of about 16 copies were made.

There was no connection with the former British car brand Pulsar .

Only one model was on offer. A ladder frame formed the basis. Many parts such as the front axle, steering and air-cooled four - cylinder boxer engine came from the VW Beetle . The windshield came from the Citroën GS . The body was modeled on the Porsche 911 .
