Vulrod Motors was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

prehistory

Malcolm and Peter Craker run the Homesdale Motor Traders workshop on Old Homesdale Road in Bromley in the London Borough of Bromley . Between 1970 and 1971 they made automobiles and kits that they sold as the Vulture .

Company history

Michael Jeffs founded the company in Peterborough in 1971 . He took over Homesdale Motor Traders and their vehicle production. The brand name remained unchanged. Production ended in 1972. A total of about 120 copies were made.

Kingfisher Kustoms offered the Kingfisher Kombat between 1983 and 1991 under the Kingfisher brand , which was based on the Vulture .

vehicles

The only model was a VW buggy . The basis was a shortened chassis from the VW Beetle . At first, a kit cost 170 pounds , from 1971 only 135 pounds.

The auction house Dorset Vintage & Classic Auctions auctioned on September 19, 2013, a vehicle for 6600 pounds .
