Sports Car Services was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
1985 Stuart Titman founded the company in Peterborough in the county of Cambridgeshire . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Sports Car Services . Production ended in 1987. Another source gives the production period from 1986 to 1988. A total of about 15 copies were made.
vehicles
The Roadster was a replica of the AC Cobra and was one of the cheaper offers of its kind on the UK market. A ladder frame formed the basis. Steering and suspension came from the Jaguar XJ . An open body with space for two people was mounted on it. Various V8 engines from Rover and American manufacturers as well as a V12 from Jaguar Cars were available. Around twelve of this model were made between 1986 and 1988.
The Mako had a modified chassis from the first model. Six-cylinder engines from the Jaguar XJ 6 powered the vehicles. The coupe body was similar to the Chevrolet Corvette . The model was in the range from 1986 to 1988 and found around three buyers.
