PK Manufacturing Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Peter Kukla, of the restoration operation Kukla Restorations led, in 1981 founded the company in Sandbach in the County of Cheshire . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Jimi . The vehicles were also exported to Africa and the Caribbean . Production ended in 1984. A total of about 67 copies were made, 8 of them as a kit .

The only model was the Jimp . The designer was Steve Kirk. It was a small multi-purpose vehicle, also available as a pick-up . The base was the chassis of the Reliant Kitten . Aluminum panels formed the body. A four-cylinder engine of Reliant with 848 cc displacement and 46 hp power drive to the vehicle. The windshield was split in two. In some cases the spare wheel was mounted on the hood. With a wheelbase of 215 cm, the vehicle was 335 cm long, 139 cm wide and 147 cm high. The empty weight was 550 kg.
