MFE was a British car brand.
Brand history
Roger Mossop founded in 1984, the company Metro Fiber Engineering (MFE) in Tangmere in the county of West Sussex . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was MFE . In 1986 the name was changed to Motorspeed . From 1988 Scorhill Motors from Godalming in Surrey continued production, which moved to Walton-on-Thames in Surrey in 1992 . From 1993 the company operated as Scorhill Motor Company and was based in Chertsey in Surrey. Production ended in 1996. A total of about 83 copies were made.
vehicles
The only model was the Magic . One source describes the sports car as a mix of a 1930s-style vehicle and a recreational vehicle. A special chassis formed the basis. An open body made of fiberglass was mounted on top. The four-cylinder engine and drive came initially from the MG B and later from the Ford Cortina .
