Automotive Systems Developments is a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

1983 Bob Egginton founded the company in Leeds in the county of Kent . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name is ASD . In total, more than 15 copies have been made so far. The company was also involved in Tripos R & D and CK Automotive , which also made automobiles.

vehicles

The Minim was a roadster with central engine . The basis was a steel chassis . The vehicle was powered by a four-cylinder engine from the Mini . About six copies were made between 1984 and 1996.

The hobo appeared in 1987. It was similar to a Mini Moke and was also based on the Mini. Four copies were made by 1991.

Five replicas of the Aston Martin DBR 1 based on the Jaguar XJ 6 as well as an undisclosed number of replicas of the Aston Martin DBR 2 were created, which were called Le Mans . ARA Racing from 2005 to 2006 and AS Motorsport since 2007 continued production under the brand name ARA .

The 250 matched the Maserati 250F . A four-cylinder engine from the Alfa Romeo Alfetta with a displacement of 2000 cc propelled the vehicle.

There are also replicas of Ferrari and Mercedes-Benz models .
