356 Sports Limited is a British company in the automotive and former automobile manufacturer.

Company history

The company was founded on November 11, 2004 in the Chelsea district of London . Colin Maurice Gontier and Adam Pearson became Directors on November 23, 2004. At the same time the company moved to Feltham . They started making automobiles and kits . The brand name was 356 Sports . Pearson resigned from his post on August 31, 2005. Automobile production ended in 2006. On October 14, 2015, Jane Gontier succeeded Colin Maurice Gontier as director. On October 19, 2015, the company relocated to London. The company was dissolved on April 8, 2017, after being in liquidation since November 6, 2015.

The 130 Spyder was taken over by Paul Banham Conversions . It was on offer from 2004 to 2005. This was the replica of the Porsche 550 Spyder . The engine came from the Škoda 742 . Spyder 550 Motors continued production from 2006 to 2009 under its own brand name. In total, these three manufacturers produced around 500 vehicles of this model.

The New Speedster originally came from Paul Banham Conversions. The model was similar to the Porsche 356 Speedster . The four-cylinder engine came from the Mini Metro and was mounted in the front of the vehicle. Production ran from 2004 to 2006. This model found around 40 buyers, spread between the two manufacturers.

The Peregrine was a Paul Banham design that 356 Sports marketed from 2005 to 2006. The 1930s-style open-top vehicle resembled Bentley models of the time. The base provided the taxi Austin FX 4 . A kit cost in the first year 6456 pounds . The vehicle remained a one-off.

The fourth car from 356 Sports was the Sprint .
