Brentford on the Thames

The London Borough of Hounslow [ ˈhaʊnzləʊ ] is a borough of London . It's in the west of the city. When the Greater London Administrative Region was founded in 1965, it emerged from the Municipal Borough of Brentford and Chiswick , the Feltham Urban District and the Municipal Borough of Heston and Isleworth in Middlesex .

The headquarters of GlaxoSmithKline and British Sky Broadcasting are located on the “Golden Mile” in the district .
