The London Borough of Havering [ ˈheɪvəɹɪŋ ] is a borough of London . It's in the east of the city. When the Greater London Administrative Region was established in 1965, it emerged from the Municipal Borough of Romford and the Hornchurch Urban District in Essex .
population
The population in 2008 was 90.5% white, 3.7% Asian, 3.1% black and 0.6% Chinese. Havering is thus the district with the smallest proportion of ethnic minorities.
