Hesdin ( pronunciation : [ edɛ ], Dutch Heusden) is a French municipality with 2225 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . ´It belongs to the arrondissement of Montreuil and the canton of Auxi-le-Château . The community is located on the Canche , near the confluence of the Ternoise .
