The seaside resort of Merlimont is located on the Opal Coast on the English Channel . Merlimont is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cucq in the north, Saint-Josse in the northeast, Saint-Aubin in the east, Airon-Notre-Dame and Rang-du-Fliers in the southeast and Berck in the south.
