Auchy-lès-Hesdin is located between Arras and the English Channel in the historic province of Artois on the Ternoise . Auchy-lès-Hesdin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Fressin in the north and north-west, Azincourt in the north, Béalencourt in the north-east, Rollancourt in the east, Vieil-Hesdin in the south, Le Parcq in the west and south-west and Wamin in the west and north-west.
