Bois Jean is a French municipality with 505 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France (before 2016: Nord-Pas-de-Calais ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Montreuil and the canton of Auxi-le-Château (until 2015 canton of Campagne-lès-Hesdin ).

Boisjean is about 7 kilometers south of Montreuil and 16 kilometers east of Berck . Boisjean is surrounded by the neighboring communities are Écuires in the north, Beaumerie-Saint-Martin , Brimeux and Campagne-lès-Hesdin in the northeast, Wailly-Beaucamp in the west, Buire-le-Sec in the east, Lépine in the southwest, Roussent in the south and Maintenay in the south East.
