The Municipal Borough of Heston and Isleworth was a district in the metropolitan area of ​​the British capital London . It existed from 1894 to 1965 under different names and was located in the south of the former county of Middlesex .

history

Heston and Isleworth were originally Civil parishes in the Harde (hundred) Isleworth. In 1894 the parishes merged and formed an urban district . This received 1932 the status of a Municipal Borough .

When the Greater London administrative region was founded in 1965, the municipal boroughs of Brentford and Chiswick and Heston and Isleworth and the Feltham Urban District became the London Borough of Hounslow .
