Lynx AE LR 1300

Lynx AE is a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

1986 Jon Lee founded the company in Milton Keynes in the county of Buckinghamshire . He prepared racing cars and also drove car races himself. In 1997 he started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name is Lynx AE . The company's headquarters are now in Wellingborough in Northamptonshire . A total of around 20 copies have been made so far.

vehicles

The first model was the Global GT Light . Lynx AE took over the model from Hazard Engineering in 1997 and gave it to Graham Hathaway Engineering in 1999 . This was an open racing car. A motor from the Yamaha R 6 with a displacement of 600 cm³ propelled the vehicles. Altogether around 100 vehicles of this model have been built by the three manufacturers to date.

The LR 1 was on offer from 2005 to 2008. This was a closed racing car. A motorcycle engine from the Yamaha R 1 propelled the vehicles. This model found around seven buyers.

The successor LR 1300 appeared in 2008. The chassis and engine are the same, only the body has been changed. About two copies of this model have been made so far.

The R 1 Mini Conversion is the conversion of a Mini with the engine from the Yamaha R 1. This model has had around ten buyers since 2011.
