Owen Sedanca

Owen was a British car brand that was founded in 1973 by SAC Designs Ltd. was made in London . The two-seater roadsters were based on the Jaguar of the XJ series . Production ended in 1983 at the latest.

The smaller model was the Owen Sedanca 6 , based on the Jaguar XJ6. The car had a six-cylinder in-line engine with 4.2 liter displacement and two overhead camshafts , of 245 bhp (180 kW) at 5500 min -1 developed. It had a wheelbase of 2769 mm.

The Owen Sedanca 12 was based on the Jaguar XJ12. The body was the same as the Sedanca 6, but equipped with a V12 engine with 5.3 l displacement and an overhead camshaft. The unit develops 265 bhp (195 kW) at 6000 min −1 .
