Handmade Cars was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

1986 Stuart Gross founded the company in Bushey in the county of Hertfordshire . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Allora . Production ended in 1989. A total of 13 copies were made.

Litton Cars from Skipton continued production from 1989 under its own brand name.

vehicles

Only one model was on offer. It was a replica of a Lancia Stratos . The basis was a chassis from the Lancia Beta , which, however, was changed to a semi- monocoque . The wheel suspensions were also changed significantly. Various engines from Alfa Romeo , Ferrari , Lancia , Renault , Rover and Vauxhall Motors were available.

One vehicle was presented at the Essen Motor Show in 1986 . Motorsport-Center Mohr then offered both kits and complete vehicles in Germany.
