Car Craft Engineering was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Terry Whiteman and his son Leigh founded in 1991, the company in Lytham in the county of Lancashire . They started making automobiles and kits . The brand name was CC . Production ended in 2000. A total of over 30 copies were made.
vehicles
The first model was the Zero . The base was a tubular steel frame . The open body consisted mostly of aluminum panels, only the front and the fenders made of fiberglass . Many parts, including the two-cylinder engine , came from the Fiat 126 . Zero Engineering continued production from 1995 to 2004. A total of about 21 copies were made.
The Cyclone followed in 1994 . This was a roadster with a resemblance to the Lotus Seven . A mid-engine from Vauxhall Motors , usually a four-cylinder engine with 2000 cc displacement and turbocharger , propelled the vehicle. Lawrence Garside Engineering took over the project in 2000, but stopped production in the same year. This model found around 32 buyers.
