Phil Haigh Auto’s ( Paul Haigh Autos, according to other sources ) was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

1971 Paul Haigh founded the firm in Stockport in the county of Greater Manchester . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Anglebug . Production ended in 1972. A total of about seven copies were made. Paul Haigh later founded Repro Rod Parts .

vehicles

The only model was a beach car in the style of a VW buggy . The basis, however, was the chassis of the Ford Anglia . Its four-cylinder engine had a displacement of 997 cc .

In Ford Anglia Owners' Club four vehicles with are British Mark HTG 842 K , PWA 434 K , UNH 662 K and VUP 446 known. Furthermore, there is a photo of the vehicle with the license plate VVV 768 S .
