history

The kit car was designed by Richard Oakes back in 1971 and constructed by Phil Sayers . From 1971 to 1975 he was employed by Automotive Design and Development Ltd. Until 1996 a few copies of the Nova were made; today the body molds are stored in Cornwall .

There were also many unlicensed copies. Some versions were available with pop-up headlights or wing doors , but the basic shape of the car always remained the same.
