Mirfield is a small town in the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees the English county of West Yorkshire . According to the 2001 census, it had a total of 18,621 inhabitants.
geography
Mirfield is located about 15 km south of Bradford and 20 km southwest of Leeds directly on the M1 and about 15 km south of Leeds . The city is on the A-road A644 to three kilometers away M62 connected.
The place is located southwest of Dewsbury in the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees and includes, for example, the village of Hartshead, which is said to be the grave of Robin Hood .
