Europa Engineering , also known as Banks Service Station , is a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Michael Winter and Andy Short founded in 1989, the company in Southport in the county of Merseyside as a car repair shop. They specialized in the Lotus Europa model from Lotus Cars . They started producing automobiles and kits in 1992 . The brand name is Europe . A total of around 132 copies have been made so far.
vehicles
In 1992 the 47 R appeared . This is the replica of the Lotus Europa. Various engines from Alfa Romeo , Renault and Vauxhall Motors power the vehicles. About 120 vehicles of this model have been built so far.
The sports version 62 R has been added to the range since 1993 . It has found around twelve buyers so far.
