The Raw Engineering Ltd. is a British kit car manufacturer based in Shelwick, Herefordshire since 1999 . In 2002 they bought the rights to the Sylva Striker and changed the design. The new Fulcrum model is also based on this car. In 2010 Callum and Jeremy Bulmer took over the project.
Models
Raw produces two models that have little difference in conception and chassis.
Striker
The Striker is available as a kit, as a partially assembled trolley or as a fully assembled trolley.
Originally, the Raw Striker was essentially the same as the Sylva Striker and only had small changes compared to it. It is a light, spartan sports car with a front-engine and rear-wheel drive. A number of different motors can be installed at the customer's request; Standard equipment is a Toyota 4AGE engine.
The Striker is a successful racing car with particular success in races in the 750 Motor Club series . In addition, Ireland has its own racing series for Strikers and another branded racing series was launched by the 750 Motor Club for Raw Striker.
Fulcrum
The Raw Fulcrum was introduced in 2008 and is essentially the same as the Striker. It has a slightly different body without the open fenders of the Striker. This closed body significantly improves the aerodynamic properties.
