IJF Developments was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Ian Ferrier, the company founded in 1992 Rishton in the county of Lancashire . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Saxan . Production ended in 2000. A total of about twelve copies were made. Another source gives the construction period from 1993 to around 1996.

vehicles

The first model was the Warrior . This was an SUV with all-wheel drive . The base was the ladder frame made from Daihatsu Rocky or Daihatsu Taft . A fiberglass body was mounted on top. There was a choice of station wagon , convertible and pick-up . About eight vehicles of this model were built from 1992 onwards.

The Crusader presented in 1993 was designed in a similar way. The windshield was bigger, the doors were wider and had crank windows. The interior offered more space, especially in the rear area. This model found around four buyers.
