Classic Replicas (UK) Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Gordon Edward Ainsby founded on 11 February 2002, the company in Taunton in the county of Somerset . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Classic Replicas . On November 8, 2005 the company was dissolved. A total of about 35 copies were made.

The connection to Deon Cars , which offered a similar model until 1998, is unclear. There was no connection to Classic Replicas of Bournemouth , which used the same brand name by 2002.

The only model was the Dino 246 . This was the replica of the Dino 246 . There were the versions GT as a coupé and GTS with a targa roof . The basis was a spaceframe. A two-seater body made of fiberglass was mounted on top. A V6 engine of Alfa Romeo was behind the seats in mid-engine layout assembled and drove the rear wheels.
