Peerhouse Cars was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company from Farnham in the county of Surrey began in 1983 with the production of automobiles and kits . The brand name was Alto . Production ended in 1984. In 1988 Cardo Engineering tried in vain to continue production. A total of about three copies were made.

There was no connection with the other British car brand Alto .

vehicles

Only one model was on offer. The chassis of the VW Beetle formed the basis. A two-seater coupé body made of fiberglass was mounted on top. Alternatively, a spaceframe chassis with an Alfa Romeo engine was provided in the center of the vehicle .

The vehicle was similar to the models from Avante Cars .
