Durow Cars was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
1985 Nick Durov founded the company in Newthorpe in the county of Nottinghamshire . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Durow . Production ended in 1994. A total of about nine copies were made.
vehicles
The first and best-selling model was the Deluge VS . The basis was a chassis with two rails. Part of the passenger compartment was from the MG Midget . The rest of the body was made of fiberglass . Many parts came from the Ford Granada . In addition to the Granada-engine also had V8 engine from Rover available. However, the vehicle was 46 cm longer than a Granada. The Landaulet body shape has been handed down. In 1986 a kit cost 1950 pounds . About four copies were made between 1985 and 1990.
The rigidity was even longer. Its body was made of steel , aluminum and stainless steel . There were three buyers between 1986 and 1990.
The Debonair was available from 1989 to 1990, but remained a one-off.
The Virage de Ville existed between 1992 and 1994 . It was also based on a Ford Granada. Its body was inspired by the 1936 Chrysler Imperial . Only one vehicle was created.
