AF was a British car brand.

Brand history

Dave Pepper founded Auto Forge Automobiles in Coventry in 1987 . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was AF . Production initially ended in 1990. Coventry-based AF Sports continued production from 1994 to 1996. This was followed by Peter Scott Diamond from 1997 to 1999 and Unique Autocraft from 2002 to 2003. The last manufacturer was either AF Limited from 2004 to 2005 or the Autoforge Motor Company from Coventry from 2003 to 2005. A total of about 40 copies were made.

vehicles

The only model was the Sports . It was vaguely similar to the Burlington Design Group's Berretta . It was a vehicle in the style of the 1930s, optionally as a roadster with two seats and as a touring car with 2 + 2 seats. A lattice frame formed the base. The body was made of aluminum and the fenders were made of fiberglass . First, a driving four-cylinder engine from the Ford Cortina to the vehicle. Alternatively, engines from Fiat and Toyota were also available. Later the engine came from the Ford Sierra .
