Iota Racing Cars

Iota Racing Cars was a British car manufacturer based in Clifton (Bristol) . The company became known for building racing cars for the 500 cm³ class.

In 1951 a roadworthy sports car was also offered, the Iota 350 . The car had an air-cooled, overhead-steered two - cylinder boxer engine from Douglas , which drew 17 bhp (12.5 kW) at 6000 min −1 from 0.35 l displacement. The car was 3798 mm long and 1320 mm wide. The wheelbase was 2197 mm and the track was 1092 mm. The whole vehicle weighed only 330 kg.
