Cornish Classic Cars was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Jack Evans founded the company in Blackwater near Truro in Cornwall in 1984 or 1985 . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Cornish Classic Cars . In 1986 the company moved to Corsham , Wiltshire . Another source names Redruth in Cornwall as the company's headquarters. Production ended in 1986 or 1987. Projects of Distinction from Redditch in Worcestershire continued the production of a model while retaining the brand name until 1988. A total of about eleven copies were made.

vehicles

The Parisienne was the successor to the Siva Parisienne from Siva Engineering Sales Company from the 1970s. The vehicle was similar to vehicles from around 1904. The basis was the chassis of the Citroën 2 CV . A double phaeton body was mounted on top. About three copies of this model were made between 1984 and 1987.

The Osprey was similar to the Mercedes-Benz SSK . The basis was the Ford Cortina . Cornish Classic Cars produced this model from 1985 to 1987 and then Projects of Distinction until 1988. A total of about eight copies were made.
