SN , possibly also called SN 1 , was a British car brand.

Brand history

Steve Collins and Neil Morgan founded in 1982, the company Steaney Developments in Chalgrove in the county of Oxfordshire . They started making automobiles and kits . The brand name was SN . From 1984, Amplas continued production from the same location while retaining the brand name. Production ended in 1986. Lemazone from Leigh revised the model and marketed it in 1986 as the Lemazone Comet . A total of about eight copies were made.

vehicles

The only model was the SN 1 . The origin was in the Eurocco model by Embeesea Kit Cars . The vehicle was based on the chassis of the VW Beetle . A fiberglass body was mounted on top. The coupe with sedan could accommodate 2 + 2 persons. The windshield came from the Ford Escort , the door panels from the Ford Cortina , the rear window of the Ford Cortina station wagon, the headlights from Fiat 126 and the door hinges from Bedford CF .
