Heritage Cars Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Roger Warrell (* 1941 † 2015) and Jack Frost founded the company in 1988 in Hitchin in the county of Hertfordshire . They started making automobiles and kits . The brand name was Heritage Replicas . Production ended in 2003. A total of about 78 copies were made.

The first and best-selling model was the C-Type . This was the replica of the Jaguar C-Type from Jaguar Cars . A tubular frame formed the basis. An open two-seater body was mounted on it. Many parts came from the Jaguar XJ 6 . A total of around 35 copies were made between 1988 and 2003. Realm Engineering has continued production under its own brand name since 2003.

The SS 100 was a replica of the SS 100 . Many parts came from the Jaguar XJ 6. Initially only available as a complete vehicle at a price from 22,000 pounds , a kit for 10,000 pounds was added to the range in the spring of 1989 . Around 15 copies were made by 1999.

From T 70 , a replica of the Lola T 70 , emerged from 1991 to 2002 about 25 copies.

The Knobbly appeared in 1992 and is based on the Lister Knobbly Jaguar racing car. Until production was discontinued in 1994 following an objection from Lister Cars , around three copies were made.
