The Californian was a VW buggy . It was similar to the long wheelbase GP buggy . The basis was either the chassis of the VW Beetle or a separate ladder frame. About 30 copies were made between 1983 and 1987.

The Baja Beetle was based on the VW Beetle and was changed especially in the rear area. The lack of a rear bumper and bonnet made it possible to see the engine in the rear. Around twelve copies were made by 1984.
