Dorian Motor Company was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Brian Doran founded the company in 1986 with his son Martin. They started making automobiles and kits . The brand name was Dorian . Production initially ended in 1988. Neil Duncan tried to continue production in 1990. A total of about 80 copies were made.
vehicles
The only model was the SS . It was the successor to the Burlington SS from the Burlington Motor Company . A two-seater roadster body was mounted on a chassis , which was similar to the vehicles of the Morgan Motor Company . Various four-cylinder engines from Triumph , Ford Escort , MG B and Morris Marina powered the vehicles.
One vehicle was auctioned for £ 2,420 in 2017 .
