Railton Motor Company Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company was founded in 1989 in Alcester in County Warwickshire founded. The production of automobiles and kits began. The designer was William Towns . The brand name was Railton . Production ended in 1993.

There were two models on offer, based on the Jaguar XJS as a convertible . The F 28 Fairmile was designed to be a little sportier than the F 29 Claremont with covered rear wheels. The body was made of aluminum . The vehicles were powered by a six-cylinder engine with a displacement of 3600 cm³ .
